Nashik: Breaking his silence on the Ayodhya Ram Temple issue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today requested the loose cannons who make contradictory statements on Ram Temple issue to have faith on the judiciary system of the country.
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp rally at Tapovan in Nashik while concluding the Mahajanadesh Yatra of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, PM Modi said the loose cannons (badbole) to be watchful while making such statements and urged them to have faith on the Supreme Court who has agreed to sit extra time to complete the hearing on the Babri-masjid Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi matter and also on India’s constitution.
Speaking on the abrogation of article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Modi said that earlier people use to say Kashmir is ours and now we have to make it a new Kashmir and make it a heaven once again. He said the dreams and aspirations of youth in Kashmir should be fulfilled and the Kashmiris be hugged.
The Prime Minister said that the top most priority of the BJP led government at Centre is country’s security, adding that there is nothing bigger than the country.
Criticising the previous Congress government at Centre, Modi alleged that in 2009 the army had demanded to purchase as many as 1.46 lakh bullet proof jackets, however not even a single jacket was purchased. He further said that after the BJP led government came to power in 2014 the government has started the process to purchase the bullet proof jackets and added that India has entered into the club of nations who export Bullet proof jackets. India now exporta bullet proof jackets to more than 100 countries, the senior BJP leader said.
Taking a swipe at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar on criticising the government on the abrogation of article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Modi said he can understand the confusion of Congress but wondered how an experienced leader like Sharad Pawar make wrong statements.
