Sanjay Raut Alleges Corruption In Nashik Kumbh Works, Says Maharashtra Government ‘Will Not Last Long’

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has alleged widespread corruption in works linked to the upcoming Kumbh in Nashik and claimed that public confidence in the Maharashtra government has declined.

Raut said Nashik residents had boycotted a conference attended by the Chief Minister and claimed that seers and saints had also raised concerns over the alleged irregularities.

“The residents of Nashik boycotted the Chief Minister’s conference. Corruption is rampant in Nashik. We criticised this, and so did the seers and saints. People have stopped taking the Chief Minister seriously. Despite having a majority, this government will not last long,” Raut said.
