Sources indicate that Shivakumar has conveyed his concerns to party leaders as discussions intensify over the composition of the next cabinet.
The Congress leadership is currently working to finalise the structure of the new administration following the departure of outgoing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, with Shivakumar widely expected to take charge in the coming days.

According to party insiders, Shivakumar believes that creating several Deputy Chief Minister positions could trigger fresh competition within the Congress ranks.
