“I Am Trapped, Bro…”: Pregnant Woman’s Final Message Before Mysterious Death Sparks Massive Protest in Bhopal

A heartbreaking final message sent by 31-year-old Twisha Sharma to her close friend has triggered outrage and intensified demands for justice after she was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her marital home in Bhopal.

Twisha, who was two months pregnant and originally from Noida, was discovered hanging at her residence in the Katara Hills area on May 12. Her death has now become the centre of a major controversy, with her family alleging murder, abuse and attempts to derail the investigation.

Just hours before her death, Twisha reportedly sent a chilling message to her friend Minakshi through Instagram.

“I am trapped, bro. Baas tu mat phasna. Can’t talk much. I’ll call when the time is right,” she wrote.

Her friend immediately responded with concern, saying, “I am worried about you, Tuktuk. I love you. I love you so much. I am with you.”

That call never came.

The next morning, Twisha was found dead, leaving her family devastated and raising serious questions about what happened inside the house she had married into — a prominent Bhopal family with legal connections, including lawyers and a retired judge.

On Sunday, Twisha’s family staged a dramatic protest outside the residence of Mohan Yadav, demanding an independent post-mortem examination at AIIMS Delhi and refusing to perform her last rites until they receive what they call “the full truth.”

Her father, Navnidhi Sharma, told reporters that the family had attempted to meet the Chief Minister directly but were informed he was occupied with an official delegation. They instead met his Officer on Special Duty, who allegedly acknowledged shortcomings in the ongoing police probe.

The grieving father claimed the family had specifically requested authorities to preserve Twisha’s body at minus 4 degrees Celsius, warning that higher storage temperatures could damage critical forensic evidence.

He alleged that authorities were storing the body at temperatures between 4 and 5 degrees Celsius, which he believes could lead to decomposition and compromise a second examination.

Navnidhi Sharma accused Twisha’s husband and in-laws of prolonged mental and physical harassment and alleged they were using influence to weaken the investigation.

The family has also questioned delays in the FIR registration, claiming police acted only two days after Twisha’s death and have not made any arrests so far.

According to them, visible injury marks on Twisha’s hands and ears raise serious doubts about the suicide theory being presented by investigators.

The family has rejected the initial post-mortem findings conducted at AIIMS Bhopal, calling the report incomplete and unsatisfactory.

They are now demanding either a fresh post-mortem under Supreme Court supervision or a court-monitored investigation into what they describe as possible murder and destruction of evidence.

During the protest outside the Chief Minister’s residence, tensions escalated when Navnidhi Sharma warned that he would resort to self-immolation if justice was denied.

Police officers and senior officials attempted to convince the family to leave and continue discussions through administrative channels, but they refused, insisting they would not move without direct assurance from the Chief Minister.

The case has now sparked widespread public attention across Madhya Pradesh, with mounting pressure on authorities to order an impartial and transparent investigation into Twisha Sharma’s mysterious death.
