Mumbai: Jay Pawar, son of Ajit Pawar, has publicly expressed serious doubts following his father’s plane crash. Sharing an emotional message on social media, Jay said it is “unlikely for the black box to be destroyed so easily” and urged authorities to conduct a transparent, impartial investigation.

He called for immediate suspension of the airline’s operations and demanded a probe into potential aircraft maintenance irregularities. “The people of Maharashtra deserve the complete, transparent, and indisputable truth,” Jay wrote, ending his post with the heartfelt note: “Miss you Dad.”

NCP Leaders Back Probe Calls

Support for a thorough investigation has come from senior leaders in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Supriya Sule endorsed concerns raised by Rohit Pawar, highlighting the need for careful scrutiny. Sule tweeted that Maharashtra was in shock and emphasized that the facts outlined by Rohit Pawar must be examined thoroughly.

Earlier, Rohit Pawar questioned why the aircraft had departed with a full fuel tank, suggesting that refueling could have been completed after landing in Hyderabad. He also hinted at possible overloading and raised concerns about the pilot being “used” in the incident.

Family Seeks CBI Probe

Sunetra Pawar, currently serving as Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to request a CBI probe into the plane crash involving her husband

Following the meeting, NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) president Sunil Tatkare confirmed that senior leaders including Praful Patel, Ministers Hasan Mushrif, and Parth Pawar had also appealed to the Chief Minister for a comprehensive investigation.

Growing Calls for Accountability

The incident has triggered widespread concern across Maharashtra, with multiple family members and political leaders insisting that any negligence or misconduct must be identified and punished. The demand for transparency highlights ongoing scrutiny over aviation safety standards and administrative accountability.
