New Delhi:Â President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday highlighted the significance of the newly introduced Viksit Bharat-G RAM G Law, stating that it aims to boost employment and development in rural areas. Addressing Parliament, she said:
“For employment and development in rural areas, Viksit Bharat-G RAM G law has been formed. With this new reform, there will be 125 days of employment guarantees in villages…”
The statement was met with applause from NDA-BJP MPs, who thumped their tables in approval. However, opposition members immediately registered strong objections, rising to their feet and demanding that the law be withdrawn.
The Viksit Bharat-G RAM G Law is designed to provide structured employment opportunities for rural populations while promoting infrastructural development in villages. While the government views it as a landmark reform for rural welfare, opposition parties argue that its implementation could face challenges and raise concerns about accountability and funding.
