New Delhi: BJP leader CR Kesavan has sharply criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his recent remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling them “treacherous” and likening them to the actions of historical figure Mir Jaffar. Kesavan condemned Kharge’s statements as “toxic, baseless, and unfounded,” labeling them as “deplorable and condemnable.”

Kesavan stated, “He has made treacherous statements similar to a modern-day Mir Jaffar. His toxic, baseless, unfounded rant against the Prime Minister is most deplorable and condemnable, and Mr. Kharge’s remarks are unpardonable, indefensible, and cannot be forgiven.” The BJP leader further emphasized that Kharge should face public accountability for his comments, saying, “Everybody demands an unconditional apology from him, and he should also come clean on what kind of inputs he received to make such outrageous remarks.”

Kharge’s statements, which have sparked controversy, are being heavily criticized by the ruling party. The BJP leader’s call for an apology and clarification has intensified the political war of words between the two parties, with both sides accusing each other of engaging in irresponsible political rhetoric.
