In a landmark moment for Indian aviation, Noida International Airport (NIAL), popularly known as Jewar Airport, successfully conducted its first flight validation test. The milestone signifies the airport’s steady progress toward becoming operational by its projected commercial launch in 2025.
Located in Uttar Pradesh, the airport is set to transform the aviation landscape of the region, easing the burden on Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), currently the busiest airport in the country. Jewar Airport is strategically positioned to serve the National Capital Region (NCR), including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.
