Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh made a bold prediction on Saturday regarding the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, asserting that the next government in the state cannot be formed without the support of his party. Speaking during a campaign event in Jhajjar, Singh emphasized AAP’s commitment to transparency and service to the public.

“Without the support of AAP, the next government in Haryana won’t be formed. We have given five guarantees from Kejriwal, and the remote control will be in the hands of Arvind Kejriwal, the son of Haryana,” Singh stated, reflecting confidence in AAP’s influence over the electoral outcome. He further asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for a significant defeat.

This sentiment was echoed by AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who, during a campaign for Jagadhri candidate Adarsh Pal, noted, “AAP is getting so many seats… the next government in Haryana cannot be formed without AAP’s support. The first seat we will win is Jagadhri.” Kejriwal criticized the ruling BJP, claiming that their presence is unwelcome in many villages and streets across the state.

Kejriwal also highlighted issues in Haryana’s education sector, alleging that an “education mafia” is thriving, with private schools engaging in misconduct and excessive fee hikes. “In Delhi, we stopped the ‘gundagardi’ of private schools and improved the condition of government schools. We will make this happen in Haryana too,” he promised.

The elections for Haryana’s 90-member assembly are scheduled for October 5, with vote counting set for October 8. As the campaigning intensifies, both AAP leaders are rallying support, positioning their party as a pivotal force in the state’s political landscape.
