In a bid to ensure the integrity of the electoral process, BJP leader Devang Dave has penned a letter to the Election Commission highlighting concerns regarding the tenure extension of Deputy Municipal Commissioner Bhagyashree Kapse in Zone 7 of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Dave’s letter raises questions about Kapse’s extended tenure, citing allegations of political bias and instances of harassment. According to Dave, Kapse’s tenure extension goes against established guidelines, raising concerns about the fairness and impartiality of the upcoming elections.

Dave emphasized the need for the Election Commission to intervene and take appropriate action against Kapse to uphold the principles of free and fair elections. He urged the Commission to investigate the allegations of political bias and harassment and ensure that corrective measures are taken to safeguard the electoral process from any undue influence.
