Hinting towards elder statesman Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar asserted that his alignment with the NDA was not intended as a sign of disrespect towards seasoned leaders. Instead, he highlighted similarities in his approach to governance with that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Expressing his determination to engage with citizens and elucidate his rationale behind joining hands with the BJP, Ajit Pawar underscored the importance of prioritizing the state’s development agenda. He emphasized that his decision was driven by a desire to enhance the well-being of Maharashtra’s populace, rather than betraying the party or its leadership.
