In a significant move, Union minister Jitendra Singh announced on Thursday that all central government offices will remain closed for half a day on January 22 in honor of the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi further marked the occasion on Thursday by releasing commemorative postage stamps depicting the history and historical moments surrounding the opening of the Ram Temple.
