The awareness programmes were conducted by SDPO Kralgund and SDPO Handwara along with SHOs Vilgam, Handwara, Kralgund and IC PP Langate. The programmes were attended by PRI members, senior citizens, students and members of the trading community.

The participants were made aware of cybercrimes prevalent in today’s times especially those related to use of social media, electronic banking, identity theft, credit card fraud, data stealing, cyber stalking, among others. They were also briefed about the social and health hazards of drug addiction and the measures to be taken to counter these social evils.
