Mumbai: A meeting will be convened soon regarding the evaluation of answer papers of HSC exams, this was announced by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. The reply was in response to a query posed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar.

Since the answer papers of HSC students are not being evaluated, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured the Legislative Assembly that very soon the government will convene a meeting to come up with a solution in this regard.

The answer sheets of HSC exams are lying and not being checked. This will impact the students grossly. Since some of the students look forward to going abroad for further education, if their answer sheets are not examined on time, the results will be delayed. Hence the government needs to look into this matter urgently, requested BJP MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar in the Legislative Assembly.

Accordingly, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Adv. Rahul Narvekar said that the matter was serious and directed the government to look into the matter at the earliest.

Since the Education Minister was not present, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde intervened. He said that the government will convene a meeting in this regard and come up with a solution at the earliest. The government will not let the students suffer, assured chief minister Eknath Shinde.
