The BJP which has insulted great men should first publicly apologize. Those who fill their own pockets in the name of Lord Ram should not talk about Hindu Gods.

Mumbai:: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost sleep because of the massive protest announced by the Maharashtra Vikas Aaghadi (MVA) on December 17 against those who are insulting great men. Anger of the public will be expressed through this march and so the BJP is doing a gimmick by protesting against the march to divert people’s attention. This was stated by Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole in a statement issued here on Friday.
The MPCC president stated that the same people who were silent against those insulting saints and great men are now protesting in the name of the very great men and Hindu Gods.
Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, Patole said that they (BJP) are trying to divert attention from the main issue. Talking about the BJP, Congress State President Nana Patole said that since the Shinde-Fadnavis government came to power in the state, arm twisting and bullying of the common man by those in power has gone up. Outright threats are also being given. The government is working to spoil the environment in the state.
Patole further remarked “Statements by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, BJP Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve, and MLC Prasad Lad about the great men and idols of the state were insulting in nature and undermined the visionary work done by them.”
The MPCC president added that none of the BJP leaders took any action against them and did not even show the courtesy of apologizing for their statements. On the contrary, these motor mouths were defended. Minister Chandrakant Patil also insulted Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar by saying that they begged to open schools.
Patole remarked “Where was MLA Ashish Shelar at that time? Did the BJP apologize for this? The protest organised by MVA tomorrow in Mumbai will be a massive one and will work towards silence the BJP leaders. The BJP has lost all its credibility among the people and there is simmering anger among the public against the BJP..”
The M0CC president further remarked that Ashish Shelar is trying to salvage the situation for his party. BJP has no right to talk about Hindu gods and goddesses. What right do the people have to talk about gods and goddesses who filled their own pockets by taking money from crores of people in the name of Prabhu Ram, and swindled money in land scams for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya? BJP, which uses Hindu sentiments only for its political interests, should not talk about gods and goddesses. The Congress state president also said that BJP’s love for Hindu Gods and great men is fake and the people are wise, they know all the truth and falsehood.
