More than 218 crore 77 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said, over one lakh 70 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 3 thousand 11 new COVID cases were reported in the country.
Country’s active caseload currently stands at 36 thousand 126 and it is at 0.08 per cent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.73 per cent. A total of 4 thousand 301 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and with this, the total recoveries touched over four crore 40 lakh.
The Ministry said, the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 1.31 per cent and the Daily Positivity Rate is at 2.23 per cent.
A total of more than 89 crore 57 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, over one lakh 34 thousand tests were conducted.
