Minnesota Horror: Gunman Opens Fire at Catholic School Mass, 2 Children Dead, Weapons Marked With ‘Kill Trump’ and ‘Nuke India’

Minneapolis (USA): A horrifying mass shooting shook the city of Minneapolis on Wednesday morning when a 23-year-old man stormed into a Catholic school during Mass and opened fire with multiple weapons, killing two children aged 8 and 10 and injuring 17 others.

The shooter, identified as Robin Westman, unleashed chaos at the Annunciation Catholic School using a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. According to police, Westman approached the side of the church and fired dozens of rounds through windows directly at children seated in pews. He was later found dead in the school’s parking lot.

What makes the tragedy even more chilling is that Westman’s weapons carried disturbing, hate-filled messages. Authorities confirmed that his guns and magazines were scribbled with threats including: “Kill Donald Trump,” “Kill Trump now,” “Nuke India,” “Israel must fall,” “Burn Israel,” “Where is your God?” and “For the children.”

Adding to the horror, Westman had uploaded disturbing videos on his YouTube channel “Robin W” shortly before the attack. In one video, he displayed his cache of weapons, while in another, lasting 20 minutes, he could be seen declaring, “This one is for me, in case I need it.” The channel, which reportedly contained at least two videos, has now been taken down by administrators. Media reports suggest that Westman had legally changed his name from Robert in 2020.

Police Chief Brian O’Hara described the massacre as one of the most devastating attacks the city has seen in years. “The shooter fired indiscriminately at innocent children. This community will be scarred forever,” he told reporters.

While investigators are probing Westman’s motives, the disturbing writings on his weapons point to a twisted mix of political hatred, religious provocation, and global hostility. The FBI and Homeland Security are assisting Minneapolis Police in analyzing his digital footprint and possible extremist influences.

The incident comes at a time when the US Time Crime Index reported a 21% decline in homicides in 2024 compared to the previous year, underscoring the shocking nature of this attack amid an overall reduction in violent crime.
