Holy month of Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and the month in which the Quran is believed to be revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and thus signifies trust, harmony, cooperation and mutual respect for each other.

The Indian Army extended warm wishes to everyone and became part of the holy celebration by offering prayers with local populace before savouring the meals together.
