India has marked yet another significant achievement, with the successful commencement of operations at its inaugural 700 MWe indigenous nuclear power facility in Gujarat. The Kakrapar Nuclear Power Plant Unit-3 is now fully operational, following its previous operation at 90% capacity subsequent to its declaration of commercial viability on June 3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to extend his felicitations to the “dedicated scientists and engineers” responsible for this momentous event.
