Felicitation ceremony for topper students held at GBHS, Gangoo Pulwama

CEO distributes awards and certificates among recently passed 8th class toppers.

Srinagar: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama on Monday organized felicitation ceremony to extend felicitations to the topper students who recently passed 8th class examinations at Government Boys High School, at Gangoo, Pulwama.

During the event, Mohammad Hussain Malik and Towheeda Yaseen from the Government Boys High School, Gangoo who secured Ist and 2nd rank and Adeena Afsheen from Government Girls High School, Ratnipora who secured 3rd rank and Sakina Hassan who bagged 9th position in class 8th examination were felicitated with awards and certificates.

After felicitation, the CEO extended compliments to the toppers who performed efficiently and urged upon them to work hard in future also. He also emphasized upon them to work hard for achieving academic as well as competitive excellence.

He congratulated the students and said that imparting modern and inclusive education is the top priority of the education department. 

Headmistress GBHS, Staff, students, parents and prominent citizens participated in the event. The Chief Education Officer was the chief guest on the occasion.
