In a resounding call to action, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has set the wheels in motion for the Shiv Sena’s Lok Sabha campaign, unveiling the ‘Shivsankalp Abhiyaan’ slated to sweep across all 48 constituencies in the state.
Addressing the party faithful via a powerful video conference, Shinde rallied supporters and outlined an extensive plan for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, slated for the first half of 2024. Emphasizing the criticality of the moment, he urged party members to prepare actively for the campaign, rallying behind the candidates from the ruling alliance, the ‘Mahayuti.’
The Mahayuti, a coalition comprising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the faction led by Ajit Pawar from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), stands poised to make an impactful stride in the upcoming electoral battle.
Setting the stage for the ‘Shivsankalp Abhiyaan,’ Shinde revealed the campaign’s itinerary, detailing the comprehensive tour across Maharashtra. “The first phase of the Shiv Sankalp campaign will commence on January 6 from Yavatmal, culminating with a grand meeting at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on January 11,” declared the Chief Minister.
Continuing the momentum, the second phase of the campaign is set to kick off on January 25 from Shirdi, weaving through strategic stops and culminating in Hatkanangle on January 30. Post these extensive campaign meetings, the party will convene a two-day special general camp in Kolhapur.
Reflecting on the past electoral landscape, Shinde referenced the 2019 Lok Sabha elections where the BJP secured 23 seats, the undivided Shiv Sena triumphed in 18 constituencies, while the NCP clinched 4 seats. Noteworthy were the solitary victories of the Congress and AIMIM, each securing one seat, alongside an independent candidate.
As the political battleground readies itself for another round of electoral fervor, the Shiv Sena’s ‘Shivsankalp Abhiyaan’ stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment to galvanize support and secure a formidable representation in the Lok Sabha.
The stage is set, the timelines are drawn, and the clarion call for unity and dedication echoes across the party ranks. With each phase meticulously planned, the Shiv Sena aims to harness the momentum, channeling it towards a robust and impactful presence in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The contours of Maharashtra’s political landscape are poised for a seismic shift as the Shiv Sena embarks on this ambitious campaign, traversing the length and breadth of the state in pursuit of a resounding victory.
