Noida, India – In a developing legal saga that has captured the public’s attention, social media influencer Elvish Yadav finds himself embroiled in controversy as the Noida police have filed an FIR against him for allegedly organizing rave parties with snake venom. While five individuals were arrested in connection with the case, Elvish Yadav remains at liberty, raising questions about his influence and political connections.
The legal proceedings began when Gaurav Gupta, an Animal Welfare Officer at the People For Animal (PFA) organization, filed a complaint accusing Elvish Yadav and other YouTubers of filming videos with snakes and venom at Noida-NCR farmhouses. Gupta alleged that these individuals were illegally organizing rave parties, inviting foreign women to consume snake venom and narcotics.
PFA, an organization associated with Maneka Gandhi, received information about the alleged activities and contacted Elvish, posing as a customer. A tip-off was given to Forest Department officials and the police, leading to a raid at the Sector-51 Sevron Banquet Hall. During the operation, the police arrested five individuals, identified as Rahul, Titunath, Jaykaran, Narayan, and Ravinaath, all from Delhi. They seized 20 milliliters of snake venom, along with five cobras, one python, two two-headed snakes, and one rat snake.
The case has been registered under sections 9, 39, 48 (A), 49, 50, and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 against Elvish Yadav as well. A thorough investigation is underway.
While the five arrested individuals have been sent to 14 days of judicial custody, Elvish Yadav, despite being one of the accused, has not been apprehended by the Noida Police. This has raised concerns and questions about whether he is receiving preferential treatment due to his influence and political connections.
Elvish Yadav is known for his associations with prominent BJP leaders and ministers. Notably, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar publicly congratulated Elvish for his victory on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and attended one of his fan meet-up events in Gurugram. Additionally, Elvish has been photographed with union ministers Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman.
The situation has sparked growing concerns about whether Elvish Yadav is receiving protection from individuals in positions of authority despite facing serious criminal charges. As the investigation unfolds, the public is eagerly awaiting further developments in this high-profile case.
