Kota, Rajasthan – Popular reality TV personality and Bigg Boss winner, Elvish Yadav, found himself entangled in a web of controversy as he was briefly detained by authorities in Kota, Rajasthan, on Saturday. The allegations against him revolved around his involvement in providing snake venom for rave parties, leading to an FIR filed in Noida.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of Suket police station confirmed the detention and stated that Elvish Yadav was released after questioning. The incident unfolded when police intercepted Elvish’s vehicle at a checkpoint in Rajasthan.
The arrest comes in connection with a rave party held in Noida’s Sector 49, where an FIR was reportedly lodged against Elvish Yadav. The event was subject to a joint operation by the Drugs Department, Forest Department, and Noida Police, which resulted in the apprehension of five individuals alleged to be associated with Elvish. They were identified as Rahul, Titunath, Narayan, Ravinath, and Jaikaran.
During the operation, the authorities seized a total of nine snakes, including five cobras, along with snake venom. The FIR filed included charges under wildlife sections 9, 39, 49, 50, 51, and IPC section 120B, based on the discovery of 20 ml of snake venom and the possession of nine venomous snakes, including cobras, a python, a two-headed snake, and a rat snake.
Allegations suggested that these individuals had been using snakes and snake venom during rave parties. The case was initiated and pursued by the NGO associated with BJP leader Maneka Gandhi.
In response to the allegations, Elvish Yadav released a video statement on his social media platforms. In the video, he vehemently denied the accusations and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police. He said, “All the allegations against me are unfounded and completely untrue. There is not a single ounce of truth in any of them. I request you to refrain from damaging my reputation. I am fully ready to assist the UP Police in their investigation. If any of these allegations prove to be even remotely true, I will take full responsibility.”
The situation has stirred up considerable attention and debate, with fans and critics closely following the developments surrounding Elvish Yadav and the allegations against him. The investigation into this case is expected to continue as authorities dig deeper into the matter.
