Mumbai: A political controversy broke out on Sunday morning after Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray alleged that a drone was spotted hovering close to his family residence in Mumbai. “What kind of survey allows a drone to peer into private homes and then leave hastily when noticed? Why weren’t residents informed?” he asked, calling for transparency from both the civic body and the police authorities.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader further demanded accountability, suggesting that if the drone was indeed part of an authorised survey, there should have been prior communication with people residing in the vicinity.
