Chairman Sharad Gosavi presided over the conference, revealing crucial details ahead of the exams set to commence tomorrow.

A significant announcement was made during the conference, wherein students were granted an additional ten minutes for the exam duration. This extension allows students the opportunity to utilize extra time for completing their papers effectively, even after the scheduled exam duration.

With a staggering 15,13,909 students registered for the 12th-grade examinations, it’s evident that a substantial number of students are gearing up for this crucial academic milestone. The examination will witness students from various streams, including Science (7,60,046), Arts (3,81,982), Commerce (3,29,905), Vocational (37,226), and ITI (4,750), showcasing the diverse academic landscape in the state.

To ensure students’ mental well-being and alleviate exam-related stress, the board has appointed counselors who will be available to provide support and guidance. Additionally, dedicated helpline numbers have been provided for students seeking counseling assistance.

In a bid to maintain the integrity of the examination process, the board has deployed 271 vigilance teams across the state to prevent malpractices during the exams. Any instances of wrongdoing will be swiftly addressed by these teams, emphasizing the board’s commitment to conducting fair and transparent examinations.

Students are advised to adhere to the prescribed guidelines, including arriving at the examination centers by the designated time and refraining from any prohibited activities. Notably, the examination for the Information Technology subject will be conducted online, with 1,94,439 students registered for the same.

Furthermore, students have been granted permission to use calculators for certain subjects, albeit with strict regulations prohibiting their use on mobile devices or any other electronic gadgets. Despite the board’s assurances, students are urged to exercise caution and avoid succumbing to any external pressures or temptations.

Moreover, the board has assured students that arrangements will be made for those who forget their hall tickets, provided they furnish a guarantee as per the board’s guidelines. This proactive approach reflects the board’s commitment to facilitating a smooth and hassle-free examination process for all students.
