In Tamilnadu, Indian Naval Station Parunthu, the naval air station at Ramanathapuram has warned that any drone flying in a radius of three kilometers around the Station will be destroyed. The naval air station is situated in Uchipuli, Ramanathapuram district.
The statement further added that flying of non-conventional aerial objects including remotely piloted aircrafts or drones was prohibited. In case of violation, it will be destroyed or confiscated without any liability and action will be taken under the Indian Penal Code against the operator.
The statement has been issued after a recent asymmetric aerial attack at an Indian Air Force station in Jammu on June 27 using drones and spotting of drones at military camps at Kaluchak and Kunjwani in Jammu.
