Shocking details surrounding the shooting of fugitive gangster Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, have come to light, revealing a gruesome and high-profile incident in Winnipeg, Canada. According to a report by Hindi news channel Aaj Tak, Duneke was brutally attacked by unidentified gunmen at his home, resulting in his death.

The incident unfolded on Wednesday at approximately 9:30 pm Canadian time when armed men forcibly entered Duneke’s residence. Duneke was shot in the head nine times, and the room bore the marks of a horrific crime scene, with blood splattering across the surroundings. Before the fatal assault, the attackers reportedly accused Duneke of being responsible for the murder of Gurlal Brar, a close relative of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. Following the shooting, the assailants fled the scene, leaving behind a wave of shock and terror.

Sukha Duneke was allegedly associated with pro-Khalistan outfits and was believed to have connections with Canada-based Khalistan operative Arshdeep Singh, also known as Arsh Dala, who is designated as a terrorist in India.

Duneke was notorious for his involvement in extortion activities and contracted killings, with over 20 criminal cases of murder and other heinous crimes registered against him in Punjab and neighboring states, according to news agency ANI.

In separate Facebook posts, rival gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria claimed responsibility for Duneke’s assassination. Bishnoi’s post cited Duneke’s alleged involvement in the murder of Gurlal Brar, Vicky Middukhera, and kabaddi player Sandeep Nagal Ambian. Bhagwanpuria, once a close associate of Bishnoi, stated that he avenged the murder of kabaddi player Sandeep Naggal Ambian by killing Duneke, as reported by the news agency.

Sukha Duneke’s mother and sister reside in Canada, while his uncle resides in Moga, Punjab. He had relocated to Canada in 2017 and was known for his extensive criminal record, including involvement in an extortion racket.

This incident unfolds against the backdrop of growing diplomatic tensions between India and Canada. Canadian Prime Minister [Name] had previously alleged that Indian government agents were involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Nijjar on Canadian soil in June. India vehemently denied these allegations.

Relations between the two countries have further deteriorated following Canada’s expulsion of an Indian diplomat, prompting New Delhi to summon the Canadian High Commissioner and terminate the employment of a Canadian diplomat, highlighting the deepening strain in their diplomatic ties.
