Mumbai RTO has ordered that all the pending fines related to motor vehicle to be paid till December 11.
However, now Shiv Sena leader and Ex MLA Krishna Hegde has written to Joint CP (Traffic) to grant extension to vehicle owners to pay their Traffic fines.
He has also suggested an amnesty scheme where a person who paid the fines for Traffic violations in time within the 15 days can be given a concession.
“These kinds of schemes and incentives are prevalent across many countries. With this scheme quick revenue can also be generated for the Department.” said Hegde.
