In a significant move ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party unveiled its first list of candidates on Friday. The list comprises 39 candidates, including several prominent leaders set to contest from key constituencies across the country.
Among the notable names featured in the list are Rahul Gandhi, who will be contesting from Wayanad, marking his return to the Lok Sabha constituency. Additionally, former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has been nominated to contest from Rajnandgaon, while veteran leader Shashi Tharoor is set to run from Thiruvananthapuram.
