The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has ignited a political firestorm by leveling serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding the alleged liquor scam in Delhi, also known as the Delhi Excise Policy Case. AAP minister and party leader Atishi made startling claims on Saturday, asserting that the money trail of the case has revealed a significant transfer of funds into BJP accounts.

Atishi’s assertions have escalated the political tension, with AAP challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to designate BJP as an accused in the case and arrest BJP president JP Nadda. The controversy further intensified with the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the ED, who has been remanded in ED custody until March 28 by the PML court.

In a plea to the media, Atishi urged for the truth to be unearthed to safeguard the country from BJP’s alleged involvement in the scandal. Drawing parallels with the treatment meted out to AAP members, Atishi warned that what was visible in AAP’s case would be evident in BJP’s case as well.

The crux of AAP’s accusations revolves around the figure of Sharath Chandra Reddy, the alleged approver in the case, who purportedly made significant donations to BJP before becoming an approver against Arvind Kejriwal. Atishi emphasized that while Reddy’s statement led to Kejriwal’s arrest, the whereabouts of the money remain elusive.

During AAP’s press conference, Atishi unveiled damning evidence, alleging that Reddy’s companies had funneled substantial sums into BJP’s coffers through election bonds. She challenged PM Modi and the ED to take cognizance of the money trail and apprehend BJP president JP Nadda.

The ongoing investigation into the Delhi liquor scam has raised questions about the massive profits accrued by liquor companies. However, the focus has shifted to unraveling the mystery behind the money trail and identifying the beneficiaries of the alleged illicit funds.

As the political storm rages on, AAP’s allegations have injected fresh vigor into the discourse surrounding corruption and accountability in the Indian political landscape. With the ED’s investigation underway, the nation awaits answers to the pressing questions surrounding the Delhi liquor scam and the alleged involvement of BJP in the controversy.
