UAE has reported 387 new cases of Covid-19 and 365 recoveries. This brings the total number of cases to 47,360 and the total recoveries to 35,834. Health authorities have announced one death, bringing the total number of deaths to 311 in the country.
UAE has made it mandatory for everyone to wear masks while moving outside. Failure to maintain social distancing, failing to wear masks and organising gatherings in public and private places will attract hefty fines. Government also intend to expand the scope of testing nationwide, to facilitate early detection of Covid-19 cases.
