RSS followers to be removed from Govt : Nitin Raut

Nagpur :

Energy Minister and working president of MPCC, Dr Nitin Raut on Tuesday said a list of persons attached to the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh will be prepared very soon and they will be removed from the Maharashtra government.

“I will check the appointment of such followers in power sector and very soon the persons attached to RSS will be removed”, he said.

In the year, 2014, after scaling power, the then Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had appointed RSS related persons  in the public sector companies.

Even after the Maha Vikas Aghadi government came to power, they are still working in the public sector but now the Indian National Congress has decided to take action against them, said Raut.

The Minister also said the appointment under every ministry would be checked and the issue discussed with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Mr Raut, meanwhile, ordered for verification of such persons in the MSEB holding company.

Currently, Vishwas Pathak, Nita Kulkarni, R B Goenka and Ashok Sathi are directors in this company. Besides, Vishwas Pathak is BJP’s state spokesperson. PTI
