Mumbai: Actor Rhea Chakraborty who was staying together with actor Sushant Singh Rajput at his Bandra residence is reported to have admitted to the Mumbai police of a tiff with the late actor. The investigators grilled Rhea for about 9 hours in Bandra Police Station on Thursday and during the questioning to cops she told that she had been living with Rajput in his apartment in Mount Blanc in Bandra .
In fact they were together during the lockdown. The duo had plans for marriage by the end of this year. “She left house after some heated argument with the actor Sushant,” said a police official.
During the interrogation, Chakraborty confirmed that they had decided to marry in
November. They both wanted to own a house before marriage thus, they were on look out for a new apartment, Rhea told the police.

“After the breakup Rhea left from Sushant’s penthouse although kept in touch with him through messages and phone calls , ‘ the official said. The cops are verifying claims by Rhea with Sushant’s family, care taker and cook..
Accordingly to Bandra police they are scanning the phone of Rhea and close friends of Sushant. They want to check if any point of time Sushant hinted any one or directly talked on his reason of depression .
After the order by the state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Bandra Police is investigating the alleged suicide case of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Deshmukh took the serious cognizance of reports in media of professional rivalry could be the cause of clinical depression which eventually led to the alleged suicide by the actor on June 14.
So far police has recorded statement of 13 people including Sushant’s family members and close friends like Rhea and Mukesh Chhabra.
