26th January, 1950 was the day when the Indian republic and its constitution came into force.
As we all know, Republic Day is celebrated every year with much enthusiasm all over the country and to mark the importance of this occasion, a grand parade is held in the capital, New Delhi
But with the large number of Indians community lives outside India also with the same enthusiasm and spirit celebrate Republic day.
We Indians love our country, and we make sure everything about India like culture,traditions,festivals is known to everyone around us.
We celebrate festivals like Holi,Diwali and we also love to celebrate our Independence Day and Republic Day with pride and honor.
The 71th Republic Day of India was celebrated in the India House,at the residence of Ambassador of India, in the Netherlands this morning . A large crowd over including Indian citizens, people of Indian origin and Dutch nationals participated in the joyous celebrations in the occasion of 71st Republic Day . The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Ambassador of India followed by singing of National Anthem and reading out of the President’s Hon Ram Nath Kovind’s address to the Nation
Also conducted several cultural performances,Patriotic songs which shows representing the countries diverse cultures and people.
.On the occasion, Ambassador greeted the Indian community in Netherlands and also thanked all those who participated in the function.
And finally, any celebration is incomplete without food.
Embassy of India arrange a special delicious Indian food to sum up the celebration of Republic day of India in The Netherlands.
On this day,like all Indians live outside India also remembering the martyrs of the motherland and vow to make India a better and peaceful nation.
May India Rise and never fall.
